Just to say that Steve came round today and did a great job. All snags fixed except the ones requiring new fittings, and as we came back from the pub tonight we confirmed all the outside lights are working. He also helped Dena move some sacks of compost into the garden!

The JT Barnes team ran a new armoured cable from my electricity meter, through my 3 bedroom house and into my consumer unit. This involved working both externally and internally in the property and liaising with the power grid's own team. They also tested the electrical system within the property and recommended remedial actions for the provision of an EICR.
They managed to quote for the job from plans and photos and a description of the job, and whilst it was more complicated than expected they were able to deal with this on site with little fuss and a reasonable increase in the job cost. I was happy that the final costs came within the quoted price range.
